Trey Canard and Andrew Short battled for what seemed most of the main event. Trey held fourth for most of the race, but gave up a spots to Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed, and to Shorty near the end. But a seventh in his first race back following a collarbone injury and surgery was impressive.
