i bet they fall apart after a race...look like the cheap stitching that they put on there shoes...hopefully the commercial ones are reliable id like em tho..pretty legit

Good luck to Nike in their attempt during this crazy economy. I would never wear anything besides Astars. I really didnt like the way the boots looked, both construction wise and visual traits. They just didn't look very reliable. Kind of reminds me of the Vector model that AlpineStars cancelled back in the day... (key word.. CANCELLED!!) The Vector was constructed to be like a "tennis shoe," but sucked. Give me a Tech 8 any day.

Those have to be the ugliest damn boots ive ever seen, id wear some harley biker boots before i wore those, and the swoosh symbol, WTF were they thinking?

How does he know the right questions? Because he's one of us.

I still don't think this boot will translate well to the public. He stated they dropped a lot things that we as racers would need to have back. I can see problems with protection and the flexibility has to translate to wearing out quickly.

I'm glad to see them in the sport and think this is great for the sport but I still don't like that boot. In the end it seems a great step forward for the sport.
