The Tech 10 has been completely revamped for 2014.
The front flex blade has been on the Tech 8 for a couple of years and now on the Tech 10 as well.
Much of the inner bootie remains the same, although the curvature of the ankle supports has changed.
The top shin protector is separate from the gaiter closure, allowing for a more contoured fit once buckled in to the boot.
The buckle system has been completely revamped, using a cam-style closure that works smoothly.
The buckle in the closed position. There is no longer a snap closure so there is less of a chance of the buckles freezing up over time.
The 2014 Tech 2014 is now 100 percent different from the original version that came out in 2004. Although new, the price will remain at $579.95.
