Powerstart Laptimers

To time laps, all the riders were using a Powerstart laptimer. It uses a transponder mounted on the side of the track that triggers the gear inside the unit that was mounted on the front fender. Besides recording the laptimes for later review, it also had a red and green light that showed a rider whether he was faster or slower than the previous lap's time.
