Off the line in moto one, the MX2 pack heads for turn one. Jake Weimer (Geico Powersports Honda) grabbed the holeshot, but made a few off-track excursions on the first lap, and slipped to third behind Martin Davalos (MDK KTM Factory) and Nico Izzi (Rockstar Makita Suzuki).
