Zero Motorcycles Displays Their Off-Road Zero X Electric Motorcycle at TransWorld Motocross' 2008 Dirt Days Festival 3

-- Demo Rides Available at Milestone MX Park This Weekend --

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (September 18, 2008) – Zero Motorcycles, the leading manufacturer of electric dirt bikes, will be displaying its Zero X Electric Motorcycle at this weekend’s Dirt Days Festival at the Milestone MX Park in Riverside, Calif. In addition to having a booth, media and interested buyers are invited to demo the all-new Zero X. As part of its 2008 marketing rollout, the Zero X has made appearances at many West Coast motor sports venues including Infineon Raceway and Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca.


 


“The Dirt Days Festival is a great weekend event for motorcycle enthusiasts of all ages to be able to see the Zero X first hand,” said Neal Saiki, inventor and founder of Zero Motorcycles. “Electric power is game-changing for the industry and I think they will be excited to see a new motorcycle that is environmentally friendly and doesn’t sacrifice performance.”


The Zero X Electric Motorcycle is a no-compromise dirt bike that utilizes lithium-ion technology to deliver surprising power and explosive acceleration. With a 23 horsepower electric motor and a total weight of 145 pounds, the Zero X can keep pace with a conventional 250cc off-road motorcycle, without the conventional problems of noise and pollution.


Transworld Motocross’ Dirt Days Festival will take place at the new Milestone Ranch MX Park in Riverside , California , September 20-21. Guests in attendance will have an opportunity to test ride the Zero X and meet members of the Zero team.
