Yoshimura with Three Top-10 Finishes in Houston

Houston, TX – April 13, 2010 – Yoshimura
took three of the top ten spots over the weekend in Houston. The
technical layout of the track combined with an intense whoop section
made for some tough and exciting action for the racers at the Reliant
Stadium.

Ryan Dungey managed the fastest overall time of 46.995
on his Yoshimura-powered RM-Z450 in the second practice session, despite
the challenging course. In the Supercross main event, Dungey started
off well, putting up a good fight and trying new lines to out-maneuver
his opponents. He finished the race in fifth, and Dungey maintains his
points lead with a twelve-point cushion heading into the next round at
Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.

Davi Millsaps rocketed out of
the gate for the holeshot in the first Supercross heat race, and he was
able to maintain his lead and win his heat. Millsaps held a top-ten
position for most of main, moving around quite a bit and keeping the
race interesting. He finished in seventh place.

Yoshimura rider
Andrew Short returned to the racing circuit for the first time since San
Diego. Short is getting back into the groove at the conclusion of the
racing season; he finished eighth and had a strong battle with teammate
Davi Millsaps to the finish.

In the Eastern Regional Lites class,
Austin Stroupe’s RM-Z250 was race-ready and his Yoshimura engine was
dialed, but in an unfortunate event, he went down in the second practice
and separated his shoulder. He will be out for the rest of the
Supercross season, but is expected to return for the start of the
Outdoor Nationals in Hangtown, CA, in May.

Austin Stroupe didn't race
in Houston after a practice crash had him in the Asterisk Mobile Medical
unit. Stroupe is not expected to race next week in St. Louis.

Andrew Short made his
return to Supercross racing in Houston after recovering from an early
season injury.

Ryan Dungey is still
leading the points race toward the 2010 Supercross championship. He
finished fifth in Houston.

Davi Millsaps finished seventh in the main event on
Saturday, just in front of his teammate Andrew Short.
