Thrillbillies,
made popular by Travis Pastrana’s “Nitro Circus” shows, will
roll it out with mini star Derek Costella @ the
Orleans

ANAHEIM,
Calif. (April 6, 2010)
The modern day carnival
geek show
that plays up dirt bikes – “Thrillbillies”
– featuring Cam McQueen and Aaron “Crum” Savage,
will be on hand with FUEL TV cameras rolling and adding to the already
insane fun
on Friday night, May 7th,
at the GEICO Powersports
MiniMotoSX , presented by Monster Energy, at
Vegas’ Orleans Arena.

From
launching a Big Wheel® off
a 100-foot cliff to making a motocross track in, over and through a
chicken
coop, hilarity certainly abounds with professional monster truck rally
driver
McQueen, self-described construction-working slacker Savage and the
Thrillbillies’ crew.

“I think I
saw the one where
they build a rocket-propelled toilet,” said Mike Karsting, VP of Events
for Source Interlink Media, on the Thrillbillies. “In all honesty we
have
no idea what they’re going to pull, but figure the fans’ll get a
kick out of it. I’m just hoping nobody gets hurt.”

GEICO MMSX
announcer Laurette Nicoll
has reportedly volunteered to drive the Thrillbillies’ Trophy Truck
during the opening ceremonies. And signs are pointing towards a
‘Creature
Feature’ mini bike race involving McQueen and Savage. Former MMSX champ
Derek Costella (Monster/BBR) is said to be involved, but all the
Thrillbillies’ camp is saying is “Can you put us on your insurance
rider?”

New for this
year is the GEICO MMSX
World Final, featuring 6,000 in podium prize money and the title of
“World’s Fastest Mini Bike Racer” for the Expert class. Also
noteworthy will be the first-ever
battle
between electric and gas combustion bikes
in the 16” class.
