Yamaha Factory Racer Broc Hepler out for East Coast Supercross Opener

Cypress, CA (February 23, 2007)  – Yamaha Factory racer Broc Hepler will miss the Atlanta Supercross, the opening round of the East Coast Lites Supercross season.   During a recent practice session at the Yamaha Supercross track, Broc Hepler crashed landing from a large obstacle and sustained a concussion.  This week, after consulting with his doctors, Broc, his family and Team Yamaha determined that Broc will not race until his condition is 100%.

“It’s a disappointment for Broc and his many fans,” explained Yamaha Team Manager Jim Perry.  “Broc ended last year’s National season on high note, winning three of the last four races.  This year, he looked incredible on his YZ250F at our practice track, and in my opinion, was a favorite to win the East Championship this year.”

Yamaha will update Broc Hepler’s condition and possible return date as Broc moves forward with his recovery.
