Press Release

Vision One Motorsports Will Skip the 2011 Canadian Motocross Season

Huntington, TX
(May 6, 2011)
– Vision One Motorsports is disappointed to announce that the
team will be missing the 2011 CMRC Canadian Motocross Nationals.  Vision One Motorsports has been running
under the Cernic’s Kawasaki banner in recent years and team owner, Billy
Whitley, has decided to take a one-year hiatus from the top action sports series
in Canada.

Whitley’s Vision One
Motorsports has become a staple at the CMRC Canadian Motocross Nationals for the
past eight years.  The team has
enjoyed tremendous success in Canada and has always felt very welcome despite
the fact that they are a team based in the United States.  However, the economy has made it
difficult for motorsports teams around the world to secure sponsors and Vision
One Motorsports is no exception.

“It was a very tough
decision for me to make,” explained Whitley.  “I think most of you know that I
absolutely love racing in Canada and everyone makes our whole team feel
welcome.  I have talked to all of
our sponsors and they understand that I don’t want to go into the series at less
than 100%.  They know me and fully
support me in that decision.  We
will be back in 2012 but in the meantime I’m looking forward to an off-season
where I can spend more time with my family.”

Vision One
Motorsports would like to thank all of our sponsors who support us in this tough
decision: Cernic’s, Canadian Kawasaki Motors, Pro Circuit, Motion Pro, EBC
Brakes, Athena, Dunlop, Hinson Clutch Components, Boyesen, UNI Filters, Moto
Option, Silkolene, Pro Wheel, Works Connection, SPY Optics, VP Fuels, FLU
Designs, OGIO, D.I.D. Racing Chains, SDG, Pro Taper, and
EVS.
