Toyota Extends Support of Monster Energy Supercross for 2013 and 2014 Seasons

Six New Features Will Be Available on Official Series Web Site

AURORA, Ill. (May 4, 2012) – Feld Motor Sports®
announced today that Toyota is extending its support of Monster Energy
AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, through the upcoming 2013 and
2014 seasons. Toyota will continue its role as the Official Vehicle of
Monster Energy Supercross.

Toyota
and Monster Energy Supercross enjoy a long standing relationship and as
an invaluable sponsor of the premier indoor, off-road motorcycling
championship on the planet. Toyota’s extension will now reach an
impressive nine years. The manufacturer’s role and presence at all 17
races of Monster Energy Supercross have increased each and every year,
and that trend will continue in the future.

"Toyota
is pleased to continue the long standing sponsorship of Monster Energy
Supercross. The supercross community is like a family, and we have seen
the benefit of the strong relationships we have built with Feld, other
sponsors, athletes, and fans over the past several years, and we look
forward to continuing those relationships in the years to come." said
Jim Baudino, Toyota’s Engagement Marketing Manager.

Toyota’s
partnership with the Joe Gibbs Racing MX team helped vault the brand’s
commitment to Supercross and that has continued to expand since. The
support of both JGRMX and Monster Energy Supercross has given Toyota a
substantial presence on site at the races, through interactive displays
in the Monster Energy Pit Party – featuring NASCAR show cars and the
Tundra Teeter Totter – as well as Toyota Tundra display vehicles on the
stadium floor. The partnership has also increased the brand and sport’s
presence in the mainstream, with Toyota’s creative television ads
emphasizing its support of both JGRMX and the history of Supercross
through the new Baja Tacoma.

In 2012, SupercrossOnline.com, the Official Website of Monster Energy Supercross, introduced Toyota Tailgate Talk, a part of the exclusive Supercross LIVE! internet video program. The weekly feature provides fans a behind-the-scenes look into the motocross industry.

Toyota’s presence can also been seen through each of the Monster Energy Supercross broadcasts on both SPEED and CBS Sports. The Toyota Point of View Camera gives viewers an alternative look at the track via a unique point of view.

Arguably
the most popular and well-known feature that has been a staple of
Toyota’s support of Monster Energy Supercross is the cheer card station,
available to fans in attendance at the manufacturers display within the
Monster Energy Pit Party. Thousands of fans have penned their own way
of supporting the sport and their favorite rider over the years on
replica pit boards than are regularly seen on television.
