Thor/Parts Unlimited: What’s New‏

Even though preparation and planning
for 2011 is already in full swing, there is still plenty happening out
on the track for Thor MX.  Last weekend in Mesquite, Nev., FMF/KTM
Off-road rider Kurt Caselli captured the 2010 Rocky Mountain MC World
Off Road Championship Series title.  The championship is Caselli’s
second of his career dating back to the 2007 season when he won his
first WORCS title.

Caselli now turns his focus toward the
International Six Day Enduro in Morelia, Mexico. Five additional Thor
riders will join Caselli as part of the United States team in just a
couple days.  Caselli’s teammates include: Mike Brown, Taylor Robert,
Cory Buttrick, Destry Abbott, and Nick Fahringer.  All will look to put
the U.S. out front in what should be a great week of racing action.
The ISDE starts Nov. 1st, and you can learn more about the event by clicking here.

Thor rider’s Charlie Mullins and Kailub
Russell also brought home championships recently.  Mullins captured the
2010 AMA/Rekluse National Enduro Championship with a second place
finish during the final round of competition just outside of Matthews,
Ind.  It was Mullins first professional championship and there is no
doubt he’ll be back on the podium in 2011 during both the GNCC and
National Enduro circuits.

Russell captured his second straight
GNCC XC2 Championship with a win in Round 12 at Power Line Park in
Crawfordsville, Ind.  Russell locked up the championship with one round
remaining, completing a very impressive season long performance.

Shifting our attention out of the U.S.,
the Australian Super X season has already begun, and Monster Energy/Pro
Circuit/Kawasaki rider Josh Hansen has been on the overall podium
following each round.  His two second overall finishes are good enough
to put him on top of the standings in the Open Championship class (450
class) ahead of U.S. rider Justin Brayton.  Make sure you stay
connected to Facebook for up-to-date results and images from the action down in Australia.

Wrapping up, Thor MX would like to
welcome back Ben Townley to the team.  Townley will return to the GP’s
as part of the MX1 class with Pro Circuit and Kawasaki Team CLS in
2011.  It has been a couple of years since Townley has been with Thor,
but all are excited to see him back on the team.

Be sure to follow thormx.com and Thor on Facebook.  We’ll have more information in the coming weeks that will begin to answer your questions on plans for 2011.
