Thor/Parts Unlimited: Thor MX is Everywhere!

We’ve spent a lot of time discussing the
Monster Energy AMA Supercross series this year and the successes of
multiple Thor MX riders.  This week though we want to direct our
attention elsewhere.  Thor MX is a long time supporter of motocross
throughout the world, and we felt it was about time to bring the
industry up to speed.

Last weekend across the pond in Bulgaria,
multiple Thor MX riders lined up to compete in the first FIM Motocross
World Championship GP event of the year.  Riders David Philippaerts and
Joshua Coppins got their seasons underway in the MX1 class and will no
doubt be in the mix for the MX1 GP title as the season progresses.

Fellow Thor rider and up-and-coming talent
Gautier Paulin will get his MX2 season started a little later than he
might like as he recovers from a leg injury. Finally, if you caught the
LIVE Streaming Webcast of the race you are well aware that Thor MX rider
Steven Frossard charged onto the podium, finishing in third place.
This weekend the GPs head to Mantova, Italy for the second round and we
will be sure to keep you updated with results throughout the entire MX
GP season.

Back here in the U.S. the offroad season is
in full swing and Thor riders Charlie Mullins (GNCC and National
Enduro), Destry Abbott (WORCS and Hare & Hound), and Mike Brown
(WORCS) head up the offroad class.  Mullins currently sits in third
place on the GNCC circuit after three rounds and is fourth in the
National Enduro standings where he has two victories through the opening
four rounds.  Despite separating his shoulder in practice, Abbott is
also on the podium sitting in third place after four rounds of Hare
& Hound competition and is positioned well within striking distance
of a WORCS podium finish.

Finally, despite a mechanical issue during
the Primm Valley race, Mike Brown continues to set the pace and tone on
the WORCS circuit and will no doubt be at the front of the field
throughout the season as he looks to retain the number one plate.

We touched on it a bit already this season,
but another avenue that Thor MX is proud to support is the Amateur MX
circuit.  Through YouTube and Facebook, fans have
had the opportunity to meet riders like Jessy Nelson, Cooper Webb and
others.  You can check out videos of both riders on the Red Bull website or
by checking out the Thor MX Facebook page.

It’s
an exciting time to be a motocross fan and we’ll be bringing you much
more on these racing circuits and the riders throughout the coming
months.  Also, as the summer draws closer we’ll look to offer some
glimpses at the products that will be offered in 2011.  Stay Tuned!
