Thor Heads to Snowshoe GNCC

The
Thor Race Team is on the road this weekend at the Snowshoe Mountain
Resort in Showshoe, W. Va for round eight of the 2011 Can-AM GNCC Racing
Series.  With rounds five and six being rained out, the XC1 class title
still remains up for grabs and Thor rider Charlie Mullins is in prime
position to capture the series points lead.




Mullins
sits in second-place behind Moose Racing rider and defending XC1
Champion, Joshua Strang.  Mullins is only two points off the lead, and
has two victories and a total of four podiums so far in the 2011
season.  Mullins will look to leap frog Strang this weekend before the
series turns toward the home stretch for the remaining five rounds.


Two
additional Thor riders in the hunt for a podium finish are Cory
Buttrick and Kailub Russell.  Buttrick sits in fourth overall, and
forty-two points off the lead.  He’ll be looking to bounce back after a
disappointing round seven, and get back to the consistent results he
delivered to open the season.  Russell has put together three straight
impressive rounds to work his way into sixth overall and only thirty
four points out of the top three.  Both riders look poised to continue
their push up the leader board when racing gets underway this weekend.



Also
available this weekend at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort, as a part of
being the official goggle of the GNCC series, the Thor Rider Support
team will be on hand to handle any repair or lense/tear-off needs you
might have with your Thor goggles.  Regardless of how new or old your
goggles are the Thor Rider Support team will be available to assist with
any of your Thor goggle needs.  If you’re looking to get your first
pair of Thor goggles, you’ll also be able to pick up a pair at the GNCC
store onsite.
