Once
racing was complete in Texas, the riders made the move to MillCreek MX
Park in Pell City, Ala., with weather threatening racing activity. On
Wednesday, weather was briefly delayed while rain passed through the
area, making the track slick and challenging. Thor riders were up to the
challenge and were able to put in solid moto finishes to eventually
bring home six championships and 10 podium finishes. Jordan Bailey
captured two championships in the 85 (9-11) Stock and Modified classes.
Hill was untouchable in the Four Stroke Open, going a perfect 1-1-1 on
his way to the championship. He also grabbed a championship in the 450 A
class, while Jordon Smith earned his second championship in two weeks
in the Schoolboy 1 (12-16) B/C class. Rounding out the championships for
Thor was Max Tannenbaum, who earned a perfect 1-1-1 in the Open Amateur
2-Stroke (14+) class.
