The first tests – J-Tech Racing video

In this past week, Stefan Kjer Olsen, Thomas Kjer Olsen, Kalle Olsson and their mentor, Brian Jørgensen, had gone to Italy to begin the preparation for the upcoming seasons European- and World Championships, together with the J-Tech Racing Team. In the scenery around Parma, the first adjustments on the Hondas, which hopefully will take the three talents to international success next season, was made, and even though the weather decided to show its wet side, the test was still a success.

The first day was spend at the well known track of Faenza, and on Hondas which still smelled of Japan, Stefan, Thomas and Kalle made their first acquaintances with the bikes. The tuning-wizards of Aldini Racing had prepared a Honda CRF250, with everything in engine tuning and suspension technology, for the guys to test. Heavy rain destroyed the next two days of testing, but instead Brian took the boys to the gym, to work on the physical shape instead. The remaining days were spend testing at Grotta, Dorno and Mantova, before it was time to return to Scandinavia. Different setups were tested and measured, which in the end secured a solid first step on the road for being ready for 2013. The countdown has begun.

Stefan and Thomas Kjer Olsen: “It has been a good week. The testing went well, and we were very pleased with the setup and the early preparation on the Hondas. We already feel in a better spot, than where we finished the 2012 European season. In the time to come, we soon will be leaving for the Brian Jorgensen MX School in Spain, to get ready for the first races. Stefans first race will be the Mantova Starcross on January 27'th, and the Italian Championships the following weekend. We are sure our setup with the amazing J-Tech crew, Aldini Racing, LM Exhausts and Brian will prove to be the best!”
