The History of EnduroCross…Leading Into 2011

Seven years and counting for the most exciting racing on two wheels!

Irvine, CA (July 20, 2011) – 2011
will mark the fifth year for the GEICO AMA EnduroCross series,
presented by Lucas Oil to have a multi round Championship. EnduroCross
started off as a one-off event in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas in
November 2004 and created a lot of buzz due to the amazing action and
skill put on display by many of the world’s best off road riders.
One-off events followed in 2005 and 2006 before a three round series was
created in 2007. For 2008, the series expanded to six rounds and
continued with six rounds in 2009 and 2010. And 2011 will see the
EnduroCross series expand to seven events with inclusion of the X Games
as the season opener.
