Team San Manuel Yamaha's Josh Hill Round out Top Ten

HILL HOLDS ONTO THIRD PLACE IN CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS RACE
ROUND 13 - RELIANT STADIUM, HOUSTON, TEXAS - APRIL 10TH

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 12, 2010) - Making its second appearance in the Lone Star State, the 2010 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, ran the 13th stop of the series in Houston.  Saturday evening's bar-banging action at Reliant Stadium, took place before a crowd of nearly 45,000. Team San Manuel's Josh Hill rounded out the top 10 still retaining the third place spot in the overall championship race with 217 points. Teammate and current Supercross Champion, James Stewart, continues rehab on his post-surgical right wrist, hoping to make it back to the track this season.

Hill ran Heat Race 1 finishing the eight-lap heat fourth for the direct transfer to the Main. In the Main event, Hill rocketed out of the gate second and ran most of the first half of the 20-lap race in third.  With the end of the season just 5 short races away, the scrap for points was apparent as Hill battled rider after rider to hold onto his podium spot for close to 10 laps. Midway through the race, the extremely technical track and enormous whoops took their toll on a good portion of the field - Hill ended up finishing 10th.  Hill's 10th place finish keeps him third in the overall championship race.

Post race Hill had this to say, “This track was really tough…I still have some work to do so I'm just going to keep putting my head down and doing the best that I can.  Thanks again to my team!”
