Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing Heads West for Final Three Rounds of Monster Energy AMA Supercross

Jason Langford and Teddy Parks head with team to Seattle for round 15

SEATTLE (April 21, 2010) – A mere three months ago, Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing debuted its expanded team at the Monster Energy AMA Supercross opener with riders in both the Supercross Class and the East Coast Lites Class. Traveling across the country and into Canada, the squad has represented its sponsors to the highest level and earned its first Supercross Class main event finish in Toronto. Heading into round 15 this weekend in Seattle, Washington at Qwest Field, riders Jason Langford and Teddy Parks are pumped to get into the main event.

Both Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing riders have made every night program in their rookie season on their JM Racing-tuned Kawasaki KX450F’s. The highlight was Parks earning 16th in the Supercross Class main event at the Toronto, Ontario round. Parks and Langford’s lap times have been competitive and they continue to seek that extra edge to make the main events out of the heats or LCQ.

The Seattle round this Saturday represents the beginning of the home stretch for the AMA Supercross series. After that race it’s off to Salt Lake City, Utah to the Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, May 1. Then, Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing will finally head south to Las Vegas, Nevada for the final round on May 8 at Sam Boyd Stadium.

“It’s hard to believe we are already making our final West Coast swing,” said Tim Shea, team manager. “We’re looking forward to going to Qwest Field for the first time and doing everything possible to get Teddy and Jason ready. Every day we are working with them to tweak the bike settings and their riding to get that extra edge. Every Saturday night they are close to making the main event. We expect Teddy will make it again before the season is out and have hopes for Jason too. Thanks to MXdesignz.com, JM Racing, FLY Racing, PowerBar, DeCal Works, Maxima and our other sponsors that continue to make our racing possible and support our privately-funded team for the entire series.”

This Saturday, April 24, supercross fans head to Qwest Field in Seattle, Washington to watch Team MXdesignz.com/Shea Racing riders take on the Supercross Class. During the pit party before the racing stop by to say hey to the riders, get their autographs and see the graffiti-inspired MXdesignz clothing. You cannot miss the team with its graffiti girl wrap on the team rig!
