Round 7 of the AMA Arenacross Series wrapped with another history making performance by Team Babbitt’s of the Babbitt’s Superstore out
of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The energy of the packed Alamo Dome was
fever pitch when Demuth, Johnson and Bowers dominated with another
podium sweep!
One night to shine this weekend and in the spirit of everything is
bigger in Texas, San Antonio produced a large track design and some
slick dirt! Team Babbitt’s relying on the traction Maxxis tires
provided and power to the ground Merge Suspension delivers to give them
the edge all night! Heat one Josh Demuth and Chad Johnson took the
leading spots and left the pack behind! Heat two Tyler Bowers powered
off the gate, taking the lead, putting a 10 second lead on the field!
The riders were dialed and showed no sign of weakness under the Alamo
Dome!
Demuth, Johnson and Bowers lined up on the gate for the main! All
riders ready to battle head to head for the 1st place podium spot! Gate
dropped and Bowers was off in 2nd quickly moving into the 1st place
spot, holding strong until lap 22 of 25! Josh Demuth charging directly
behind Bowers makes a move, stealing away the lead in front of his
hometown state, to the roar of the crowd!! Johnson worked through the
pack from a 7th place start to lock down the 3rd place position! Team
Babbitt’s Monster Energy TiLUBE Kawasaki takes the 1st, 2nd & 3rd
and clean sweeps the Alamo Dome!
Team Owner Eddie Babbitt celebrating his birthday on Saturday night
was given the birthday present of a lifetime! “2010 has been unreal!
Each weekend my racers are giving unforgettable and undeniable the most
amazing performances I could ask for! I’m so thankful for my awesome

are working harder than ever, training, riding more, and
challenging each other to be the next Babbitts rider on top of the box
each weekend, as the points are getting closer in the top 3 positions
