Team BTOsports.com finish strong at Freestone

Wortham, TX – As the dust settles on round two of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, the BTOsports Motocross/BBMX race team stepped it up this weekend as team had an exciting time on the Freestone MX track.

Michael Byrne would have a strong weekend at Freestone. After starting strong in the first moto, Byrner would ride aggressive and finish in the 12^th position. The drama unfolded for Byrne in the second moto as his bike would run out of gas on the last lap, a few hundred yards from the finish. He would get off and push his bike across the finish line in 15^th! Byrne would go 12-15 for 11^th overall for the day. Every weekend we see progress from the tough Aussie and look for him to battle in to the top ten next weekend.

Jimmy Albertson would have an up and down weekend, as 15-35 score for 21^st overall would show. “Top” Jimmy would ride strong the first moto, after overcoming a mid-pack start to finish 15^th. The second moto he would struggle and only manage 35^th at the end. Still, Jimmy was showing speed out there and he is ready to step it up in the upcoming rounds.

Jason Thomas had a better weekend, with a 27-28 for 29^th overall shows. JT$ would suffer again from poor starts, but would move forward and pick up spots in both motos to finish within the top 30. With the shaved head keeping him cool, no doubt JT is going to keep moving forward as the season progresses
