Team BTOsports.com Jimmy Albertson finishes 12th place at New Orleans

New Orleans, LA - The BTOSports.com headed down to New Orleans, energized after the break for
Rd. 14 of the Monster Energy /AMA Supercross Series.  The weekend off was
a great opportunity for the BTOsports.com team riders to refresh and come back
to finish the season out strong, as team riders Jimmy Albertson, Jason Thomas
and Matt Goerke attacked the New Orleans track, qualifying solid for the night’s
racing.

During the first heat race, Matt Goerke looked strong out
of the gate.  An early race altercation,
however would sideline Goerke.  He would
crash hard while passing Robert Kiniry for 5^th position on lap 6.  Due to the crash, Goerke would sit out the rest
of the night, instead taking a trip to the hospital to be evaluated for injuries.

Jimmy Albertson came in to this race refreshed and on his
game.  He blasted out of the gate in his
heat race, rode solid to put himself in the main event with a 6^th
place finish.  In the main event, “Top”
Jimmy again had a great start, rode strong all race long to finish 12^th
in the main. 

“I’m pumped about my ride tonight” said an ecstatic Albertson.
“Everything fell into place in the main event and I rode a strong twenty laps.”

Jason Thomas struggled through the night.  In his heat race, he would crash mid race,
forcing him to the LCQ.  In the LCQ, he
would get a mid pack start in a stacked field and finish in 6^th
place.  Not a night that JT$ wants to remember,
but be sure he will come back swinging next week.
