Team BTO Sports Capture Best Finishes of the Season at Glendale Supercross

Camarillo, CA (Feb.8, 2016) –  It was a solid night as Team BTO Sport visited Glendale, AZ as round five of the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross series visited the newest venue in the series, the University of Phoenix Stadium. For riders Davi Millsaps and Justin Brayton, the fast and unique Glendale track provided the rider’s best finishes of the season.

Davi Millsaps was on the gas from the beginning of the day, as he would put down the 11th fastest time of the day.  With the track wired, Millsaps used the traction from his Pirelli MX tires to grab the holeshot in his heat race. He would take the lead and power away from the field, riding strong to take the heat race win. Feeling confident, Millsaps would once again take destroyed the start in the main event, as the explosive power from his FMF Racing Exhaust propelled him to his 2nd main event holeshot of the season. Millsaps continued to battle inside the top 5 throughout the main event, holding strong and finishing the night in 5th place. After 5 rounds, Millsaps moves up to 8th in championship points.

“My night was good overall” Millsaps said. “We made progress during the week and it showed here tonight. We will be ready in San Diego next weekend.”

Justin Brayton continues his solid season, as he made the main event through a power ride in his semi. He would take the lead early in race and proceeded to gap the filed as he lead every lap to take the win.  In the main event. Brayton set his sights to the front, as the clear vision of his Scott goggles helped him charge up through the field, battling riders as he rode his way up to 7th place by the checkered flag. After 5 rounds, Brayton is 9th in championship points.

“This was the best night yet” Brayton said. “The whole day was positive and it’s a step in the right direction. I’m looking forward to a top 5 in San Diego.”
