TLD’s Noren Scores Career-Best Finish Day Before Nuptials

Buchanan, Mich. (July 4, 2015) – Troy Lee Designs rider Fredrik Noren didn’t have any trouble being the sole TLD representative in the 450 Class out of the RedBud MX track for the seventh round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Series, collecting his best career finish in seventh overall. The superb result was less than 24 hours before the Swedish rider is scheduled to marry his fiancé in Ohio, providing Noren with a larger than normal cheering section with family and friends in the states for the occasion.

Noren bounced back in a big way after last week’s 15th-place result, showing off his speed in both motos. In the opening moto, he started outside the top-10 and used most of the moto to make his charge to finish seventh. In Moto 2, he got a better start and battled the rough and deteriorating track to finish eighth. The 7-8 moto result placed him seventh overall, beating his previous career best of eighth overall.

Noren’s Team Honda HRC and TLD teammate Cole Seely sat out of competition for the second straight week, following a practice crash suffered prior to Round 6. After trying to ride late this week, Seely and his team thought it best to take some time to rehab a pulled leg muscle.

Noren will get an extra weekend to celebrate his new wife and Seely will be able to rehab a little bit longer with the series taking a one-weekend break before returning in two weeks at Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota on July 18.

Even with his Swedish background, Noren got into the Fourth of July spirit by wearing theSE Air Caution White/Navy and theGP Air Flexion Navy/White Racewear, See more of the2016 gear sets and the2016 Moto Helmets online and at your local TLD retailer.
