TILUBE/TUF Racing gets another win for Husqvarna in Colorado

Kyle Regal puts his Husqvarna up front on Saturday night in Colorado Springs.

After taking his first career AMSOIL Arenacross victory last week Gavin came into Colorado, Friday night with a huge wave of momentum setting the fastest qualifying time and winning the first heat. Not to be out done by his teammate Kyle also won his heat race and faced off against Gavin in the head to head to finish first and second in that. In the first main event Kyle got tangle up with 5 other riders on the first lap and only could manage a 12th overall after the mishap.. After Hayes took control of the race on the opening lap thanks to a strong start, Faith slotted in right behind him after passing both Blose and points leader Goerke on the way.  Gavin slowly ate away at Hayes big lead until making the pass for the win on the last lap.

Again first turn melee caused Gavin to get a poor start, but helped Kyle from his second row start. Both riders keep moving forward moving up to 3rd and 4th at the finish. Gavin’s 1-3 finish but him in a tie with Hayes for the overall win but the second main win gave it to Hayes.  Kyle ended up 6th overall making up for his first main incident.

Kyle Regal first AX overall win and third main event win for 2015.

Saturday again started out well with both riders qualifying well. Gavin again finished second in his heat, but Kyle had a little incident in his heat finishing 6th and again regulating him to the second row for the first Main event. Gavin and Hayes got into each other on the start with Gavin running 7th and Hayes in 9th.  Kyle somehow got through from the second row to start 5th and quickly soon made the pass by Goerke and McDade for 3rd were he finished. Gavin went down hard in the whoops ultimately forcing him out of action for the night.

The second moto was all Kyle’s as he pulled yet another hole shot on his potent Husqvarna 250 and never looked back as he ran away with the win gapping the entire field. This was Kyle’s third main event win, but it was his first overall win of the season. It was quite an impressive win being as he had a second row gate pick in the first main event. Obviously both of the Husky riders have what it takes to win and both will be in the hunt for that championship trophy in the end.
