Supermoto USA Racing Returns to San Mateo Motorcycle Show‏

SUPERMOTO USA RACING ACTION RETURNS TO SAN MATEO MOTORCYCLE SHOW AT

SAN MATEO COUNTY EVENT CENTER

Nor-Cal Championship Series Finale Kicks-Off 12-City Cross Country Tour

  San Mateo, Calif. (October 31, 2011)  For the second consecutive year, Supermoto USA will wrap up its Nor-Cal Championship series at the San Mateo Motorcycle Show, Saturday November 19 and Sunday, November 20. The Progressive International Motorcycle Shows®
has partnered with Supermoto USA to bring a full weekend of Supermoto
racing to the Progressive International Motorcycle Show’s first tour
stop, at the San Mateo County Event Center.

Supermoto
USA will feature 14 race classes including two Red Bull US Moto
GP, Supermoto USA Unlimited Pro and 250 Pro classes and a full course
with moto cross jumps, man-made obstacles and much more. The
race schedule has been posted on the show website at www.motorcycleshows.com. Pro events title sponsor, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is presenting the $3,500 pro purse this year.

This
exciting championship series attracts top pro riders from throughout
the West and overseas. Competing is last year’s Unlimited Pro Winner and
current number one plate Ryan Kearns, from Stockton, Calif.; former
Superbike competitor Leonardo “Pucho” Bagnis, from Argentina; and
18-year old Fred Guerin, from France. In addition to professional races,
more than 100 amateur racers will compete in other divisions offered
for all ages and skill levels including two youth classes for riders
five years and older.

The
San Mateo Motorcycle Show will be open to the public Friday, November
18 through Sunday, November 20, at the San Mateo County Event Center,
located at 2495 South Delaware Street, in San Mateo. Show hours are
Friday, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and
Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the event is $15 adults $6
for children 6-11. Children 5 and under are admitted free. On Family
Day, Sunday, November 20, all children 12 and under are free when
