Star Racing/Division 7/Yamaha signs on Sean Collier for AMA Lites West Coast Supercross Series

Lake Elsinore, Calif – With the unfortunate circumstances that struck Star Racing’s Brock Tickle an opportunity arose in getting #207 Sean Collier’s services. As former member of Star Racing for two seasons, the team holds a great deal of respect for the 23 year-old. Sean has remarkable skill on a motorcycle, and a personality with endless amounts of drive which makes him fit in well. Bringing Sean back into the Star Racing program with Yamaha Factory backing, we see it as a good way to brighten up the future and obtain great results for both sides. Collier is already adapting to his 2009 Star Racing YZ-250F, and plans on making his full fledged debut at the upcoming round of Supercross in Phoenix, Arizona this weekend.

Our other West Coast contingent, Michael Hall, rode strong in his debut Supercross. Qualifying as the 10th fastest rider into the night program, Hall experienced some hard luck during the heat race and LCQ, which held the rookie out of the Lites Main Event.

Brock Tickle injured his jaw while riding the Friday practice/media day. Currently Tickle will need an undetermined amount of time to heal. However, with the help of the team’s trainer Ryan Hughes who knows this injury very well, we foresee Brock getting back into the action with a full recovery. We’ll keep you updated as things progress in the coming weeks…
