Press Release

Stanton / Hepler / Hill /Pingree / Albertson / Beams on DMXS Tonight!

The outdoor season has come to a close, and even though the championships did not come down to the last motos, there was still some great racing and history made. I want to dedicate tonight’s show to the Racer X Motocross Show for their impressive coverage and countless hours spent behind the scenes to make sure the fans were taken care of. DC’s vision is now the standard in covering our sport, and I wanted to take the time to thank all those that make it happen. You all know who you are, and we are a grateful MX nation. (Disclaimer: Jason Weigandt’s management team asked that he be mentioned personally and especially thanked for his efforts.) Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials this weekend, Weege. We wish you both nothing but the best.

Factory Honda’s Jeff Stanton was a six-time AMA Motocross and Supercross Champion so he knows what in the hell he is talking about. He usually lets his actions do the talking for him, but as a consultant he must find a way to bridge the generational gap between the young riders under his rig and somehow pass his knowledge onto the future champions. Jeff’s candid style makes for a great interview and we look forward to catching up with one of our favorite guests throughout the years.

One of the changes that Factory Honda had to deal with this year was the rash of injuries that plagued the team. Fortunately for Jimmy Alberston, that meant a shot at the big leagues on one of the most coveted rides in all of motocross. We have followed him throughout his amateur career and we were certainly glad with his dream opportunity that he will discuss tonight.

Factory Yamaha’s Josh Hill has had an interesting year that involved not only racing in the Motocross class full-time, but also some life lessons along the way. Josh is a great kid with balls-out speed and gobs of natural talent and we continue to pull hard for him. He will join us for a candid review of his year as he starts to focus on SX and puts this year in the books.

David Pingree is training for a new career and chapter in his life. There were some rather sorted rumors on the internet that involved Ping’s new job and some full frontal nudity, but those were false and all started by Steve Matthes. Ping will fill us in on his latest venture and break down the season for his in his own sarcastic words.

Factory Yamaha’s Broc Hepler has been waiting for this podium for a very, very, very long time. The adorable Pennsylvanian has endured an endless run of injuries, but made sure to remind everyone not to forget him quite yet with his impressive podium at Steel City Broc is heading over to Sweden to do some SX races, but will stop by on his way through customs.

Motoendurance.net’s Robb Beams is very proud of his latest prospect’s accomplishments. Red Bull’s Ashely Fiolek fulfilled a life long dream and secured the championship after a season long battle with some very talented riders. Robb will stop by with the latest on his clients and some biceps training tips as leaf raking season is almost here.
