SprocketList.com Taps Into World’s Largest Online Motorsports Marketplace

SprocketList.com features
free classified ads with distinctive and powerful features for
motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile and personal watercraft enthusiasts, backed
by an extensive existing network of classified sites plus turnkey
partnership opportunities for publishers and non-profits. With the
economy struggling, consumers are increasingly considering used
vehicles as an alternative - and many are clearing our their garages to
generate some needed cash. SprocketList.com comes along at just the
right time to meet these needs.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Raceway Media, LLC, a Massachusetts
business best known for its wildly-popular auto racing classifieds
website RacingJunk.com, recently partnered with motorsports digital
media veteran Joe Tripp to launch a new classifieds website focused on
the robust powersports segment.

Osmin Alvarez, Raceway Media’s CEO, has high expectations for the
new venture’s prospects. "We’re in an excellent position to extend our
successful classifieds model into the powersports marketplace. Not only
have we refined our proprietary platform with nearly a decade of
successful development of RacingJunk.com, but both the powersports
marketplace and consumers’ use of online classifieds are in a major
growth mode."

Set to launch late September, 2010, SprocketList.com will offer
powersports enthusiasts a free, easy-to-use platform for buying or
selling motorcycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, personal water craft and
associated gear, parts and accessories. For a small fee, advertisers
will have the ability to upgrade their ads to include premium features
or to reserve a premier position on top-level pages. Ads placed on
SprocketList will be visible throughout an entire network of classified
sites powered by the same core technology and database, affording
unparalleled reach and success.

Essential to the business model is a private-label classifieds and
marketing approach, whereby website owners (sanction bodies,
publishers, promoters, organizations, clubs, etc.) can add customized SprocketList powered
classifieds to their portfolio, fully customized to look and feel like
their main site. SprocketList offers this service to businesses at no
charge. In addition to increasing traffic and search engine
optimization, classifieds partners earn a share of all revenue earned
by premium listings placed on their sites, and are showcased in
Sprocketlist.com’s marketing materials, promotional efforts and
homepage.

"We are extremely pumped about Sprocketlist, and from both a
consumer and business standpoint our timing couldn’t be better," said
Tripp, formerly the Executive Director of Digital Operations at SPEED
Channel and now President of SprocketList.com. "For consumers facing a
tough recession, free classifieds are a great place to shop for a used
bike, search for parts to fix up a current ride or simply to sell off
excess inventory and raise some much-needed cash. Businesses are
certainly feeling the pinch as well, and its really rewarding to be
able to offer no-cost solutions that grow website traffic, build brand
awareness and reach, and most importantly, create new sources of
revenue."

The approach is a proven success model. Raceway Media Group,
previously focused on the auto racing segment, has built a network that
boasts nearly 1 million unique visitors and more than 70 million page
views per month. Its myriad partner sites include marquee names such as
ESPN Outdoors, SPEED.com and Autoweek. RacingJunk.com,
its core property (and sister site to SprocketList.com), is the world
leader in online four wheel motorsports classifieds.

"SprocketList is a powerful extension of our strategic approach to
enthusiast vertical marketing," said Alvarez. "We’ve created a huge
opportunity to dig deeper into some of the specific niches that have
developed organically on RacingJunk over time. Our data shows
significant demographic crossover between performance and powersports
enthusiasts, so that puts us in a prime position to leverage the power
and interests of our established audience into rapid growth and success
for SprocketList."
