Sean Hamblin MX Academy @ AIR MX Racing

The #105 Sean Hamblin MX Academy @ AIR MX Racing Presented by Andy Stacy / Jupiter Motorsports, Wooster MotorSports Media & Al’s Maintenance will be held on Friday June 17th & Saturday June 18th, 2011 at the 2010 WNYMA “Track of the Year” located in Delevan, NY.

“I thought this would be a great fit having know both Sean Hamblin and Larry Wooster for many years, combined with having ridden at Al’s & Larry’s MX track [AIR MX www.AIRMXRacing.com ] and having a blast there… its going to be one of the best MX schools ever,” according to Andy Stacy. Brothers Andy & Frank Stacy both got there start right here in western NY State competing at tracks that no longer exist, like Zoar Valley, Bluemont, Dansville, Acoca, Victor, Hunt Moto Park, and even Lancaster Raceway Park [now Dunn Tire Raceway] held motocross style events. In fact, their Dad, the late Dean Stacy had a motorcycle shop in Depew, NY called Dean’s Cycles. Andy was the 1981 AMA 250cc “Rookie of the Year” and amongst other Honors earned his lowest National number, #26 in 1985.

According to the #105 Sean Hamblin, it’s been both a pleasure and an Honor working with Andy Stacy and representing his shop, Jupiter Motorsports. “Andy’s been helping me make it to a bunch of National events and supporting my racing career for a couple years now,” Hamblin explained. Hamblin was the 1999 - AMA / Amateur National Champion. (125 B – Stock) / 2000 – 125cc West Canadian National Champion. (Blackfoot Honda) / 2002 - Factory Suzuki called upon him to replace an injured Travis Pastrana & Kevin Windham and Hamblin finished 8th in the 2002 AMA/Chevy Trucks 250cc U.S. Motocross Championship. [finishing third at the Binghamton Round] / 2002 – Hamblin rode for Team USA at the World Cup of Motocross.

“AIR MX is ecstatic to bring in not one, but two former National Pros to teach what we have always felt were the best racers and people in the world, the mx/sx racers of western NY State,” Larry Wooster, promoter for this event explains. In fact, there are TWO MX Schools… the #105 Sean Hamblin MX Academy for 125cc – 500cc dirt bike riders AND the very special Club57 “Mini MX School” for 50cc – 85cc riders. Brad Jerominski of Club57 Motocross Schools is a former AMA Pro Motocross racer who started Club57 in 2000. Brad is a professional motocross coach that over the past 11 years has taught 1,000’s of mx racers across the USA and overseas.
