SRH Joins Top Moto Companies to Support a Great Cause

The day started out quiet at Pala Raceway; until SRH and the
crew showed up firing off the bikes and blasting music to the track's
early birds. Before 11am we had an amazing crowd show up to give their
support to 5 year old Daleigh Ford who is currently battling leukemia.
Starting almost an hour earlier than scheduled, the SRH FMX team as well
as other top FMX pros were ready to hit the ramps bright and early.
With new tricks and combos, Pro riders Destin Cantrell, Ronnie Renner,
Colin "Scummy" Morrison and a few others joined SRH riders Jesse Jolson,
Greg Schaaf, Bryce Hudson, Taylor Sterner, Vinnie Carbone, Jason
Springfield, and Cal Vallone to put on an amazing show for the crowd.

As the wind picked up the show didn't stop! Throughout the
day SRH BMX Pros Dustin McCarty and Thomas Hancock were tearing up BMX
ramps in the middle of the action keeping people on their toes.

One of the main highlights of the benefit was the raffle put
on to raise funds for young Daleigh's recovery and treatment. With
massive prizes from companies like SRH, Pro Circuit, Sullen, Osiris, We
All Ride, Hostility, Gibson Exhaust, and MANY MANY MORE, the raffle
raised more than the original goal and left the door open to bring more
events like this and support to the action sports community and the
people that need it.

Event coordinator and soon-to-be stepfather Michael Corlee had
this to say to the spectators and exhibitors who came out to show their
support and fight the heat with the rest of us:

"I just want to begin by saying thank you to everyone that was
involved in this day. I am overwhelmed by the support that we received
and how fast all of you acted on helping any way you could. Thank you
for being part of such a special day for me. You all helped us raise
$3410.00 for Daleigh which exceeded our expectations. My fiance,
Daleigh's mother, can't express enough the overwhelming joy she got from
watching the event unfold, and the seeing the for her son in an
industry she has always held in such high regard. Everyone had a great
time. With the success and support that has come out of this event for
Daleigh, we can look forward to making this an annual event to benefit
all Leukemia patients and their friends and family. This industry and
has given me so many cherished moments in my life and I want to be able
to give back. Seeing the success just makes me want to do this
again and again and I hope to continue to see all of your support. You
are all exceptionally good people in my book and I can not thank you
enough."

SRH would like to extend a huge thank you to photographers
Sergio Guiducci, Frank Galante, Kevin Flory, and Bryant Lambert for
capturing the best memories of the day. We would also like to thank the
Event Agency and Chantelle Boshoff for bringing the crew out and helping
out in the SRH camp all day!
