Rockstar/Hart and Huntington Honda Make It Right at the New Orleans SX

New Orleans, LA - The AMA Supercross series trudged into the Big Easy, New Orleans, Louisiana and it was a successful one for the Rockstar/Hart and Huntington Honda team. The team had pledged to bring awareness to the “Make It Right” foundation started by actor Brad Pitt by using the charities main color pink in its team bikes and rider gear.  Thanks to all the sponsors like One Industries and QTM for all the help in making this happen. The night was a success on and off the track.

Team riders Matt Boni and Troy Adams both qualified for the main event and Boni placed a career high tenth place.  Adams would go on to eventually end up seventeenth on the night. Boni, of Geneva, Florida is currently in fourteenth place in the point standings and Adams of Brooksville, Florida sits in twenty-second.  Boni is currently the third highest placing non-factory rider in the points.

“I’m really happy to get both guys in the main and Boni getting tenth is awesome for him and the team. Troy rode his ass off tonight also” said team manager Kenny Watson “I’m pumped for the guys and to raise awareness for the Make It Right foundation is also great.”

Team owner Carey Hart was in the house and had this to say, “When my friend Jesse Rooke suggested we team up with Brad (Pitt) it was a no-brainer and I think the look of the bikes was great. Anything we can do for this worthy cause is cool”.
