Rockstar Hart and Huntington Honda Anaheim 3 Race Report

Anaheim,California- The AMA Supercross series came to the Anaheim stadium for the third and final time with the Rockstar Energy Drink/Hart and Huntington Honda team having a good showing. Team riders Josh Hansen of Las Vegas and Troy Adams of Brooksville Florida both put their Honda CRF450’s into the main event on a track that was treacherous and very challenging due to the rain.

The first heat would see Hansen get involved with another rider and shoot off the track and he was well out of qualifying position. The man known as “Lil Hanny” put his head down and rode great to get the ninth and last transfer spot into the twenty man main event. Adams had a little less exciting heat race as he finished ninth as well.

Once in the main Adams night was cut short by a crash early on and he was forced to pull out of the race. Hansen raced hard, crashed a few times and finished eighteenth. Hansen had worked his way through the pack and was riding well but the rains came and made it a very slippery track. “We worked hard, got our guys in the main event and sometimes things don’t go your way” remarked team manager Kenny Watson “I’m proud of how our team reacted to the changed program and we’ll come back at San Diego strong.”

Despite the rain, the Rockstar H&H truck was, once again, the place to be as the party raged on underneath the tent. Make sure you come by when the races are in your town to get a Rockstar Energy Drink and an autograph!
