Road 2 Recovery Fourth Annual Hold 'Em or Fold 'Em Charity Poke Tournament

 



Scottsdale, AZ - The Road 2 Recovery Foundation announces the Fourth Annual Monster Energy Hold ‘em or Fold ‘em Charity Poker Tournament presented by Toyota Trucks.


The no-limit Texas Hold’em charity poker tournament will be emceed by celebrity tournament director Matt Savage. Matt is the world's foremost Poker Tournament Director, responsible for directing over 350 televised events such as the World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour and many others.


This tournament will take place on Thursday, October 9th at 4:00 p.m. in the MGM Grand Poker Room, to coincide with the Rockstar Energy Drink U.S. Open of Supercross event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena October 10th-11th. The tournament will allow fans to be seated at a table with a Supercross, Poker or Action Sports celebrity.


All tournament proceeds will benefit the Road 2 Recovery’s Injured Rider Fund. The buy-in to participate is $300. There will be optional $100 re-buys for additional tournament chips through the first four 20-minute rounds, and a last chance add-on up to the chip lead, not to exceed 6,000 chips. The first place sponsored prize is a $10,000 seat in the 2009 WSOP Main Event. Other prizes include Curtis & Co. Watches, Autographed Chip Sets, WSOP and WPT Poker Boot Camps, just to name a few.


The Road 2 Recovery Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping AMA licensed professional motocross/supercross members with financial assistance if they sustain career-ending injuries as well as providing motivational, emotional and spiritual support to these individuals and their families.
