Reed Leads World's Best into High Point This Weekend‏

Reed Looks For Third Win of the Season as Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship Heads East to High Point Raceway

Dean Wilson Brings Red Number Plate to Mt. Morris in 250 Class

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.
(June 6, 2011) - With two rounds down in the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro
Motocross Championship, only one rider has stood atop the overall
podium. TwoTwo Motorsports/Bel-Ray Racing's Chad Reed sits atop the 450
Class standings, carrying a two-race winning streak into Saturday's
Rockstar Energy High Point National presented by Centra Bank in Mt.
Morris, Pa. After a weekend off, the world's best riders are eager to
take to the track, and continue the intense competition that has
characterized the summer so far.

Reed's
biggest challenger to this point in the 2011 season has been
defending champion Ryan Dungey. At the previous round of the
championship from Wortham, Texas, Dungey appeared to be on his way to
capturing his first win of the season for Rockstar/Makita Suzuki.
However, misfortune struck in the final moto as Dungey ran out of fuel
with two laps remaining, allowing Reed to assume the lead and sweep
the day's motos.

Now,
Reed holds a 21-point advantage over Monster Energy Kawasaki's Ryan
Villopoto, who has posted back-to-back podium efforts to start the
season, with Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGR's Davi Millsaps in third. After his
heartbreak in Texas, Dungey currently occupies fourth in the
standings, 28 points out of the lead. With sole possession of the red
number plate, signifying his position as the 450 Class points leader,
Reed heads to the site of his first career victory in the premier
division in 2009.

After
a highly-competitive opening round, the 250 Class also featured a
to-the-wire battle for the win in Texas. After a pair of grueling motos
dominated by the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team, South
African rider Tyla Rattray secured his first win of the season. Behind
him, his teammate and Scottish-born rider Dean Wilson grabbed his
second consecutive runner-up result and now sits atop the standings
for the first time in his young career. So far in 2011, only Mitch
Payton's Pro Circuit riders have taken the checkered flag, and they
will look to continue the dominance this weekend.

High
Point Raceway is an iconic piece of American Motocross history. Since
hosting its first race in 1976, the facility has become a staple of
the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship and has produced some of
the most memorable races throughout the illustrious history of the
sport.

Last
season at High Point, Ryan Dungey headed to Mt. Morris fresh off his
first career 450 Class victory. He posted a dominant effort in front
of thousands of fans to win for the first time at the facility and
move into the championship lead, which he held throughout the
remainder of the season. In the 250 Class, Tyla Rattray used a pair of
determined moto efforts to capture his first career overall win on
U.S. soil.

The
promoters of High Point Raceway are once again pulling out all the
stops in the development of the layout for 2011. The Rockstar Energy
High Point National marks the East Coast debut of American Motocross
this summer and enthusiasts can count on seeing the intense air time,
and ever-changing track conditions that have helped High Point Raceway
become a favorite amongst riders and fans alike. As the finishing
touches on Saturday's track take place, fans can expect to see more
spectacular racing than ever before at one of the sport's most popular
circuits.

The
on-track action for the Rockstar Energy High Point National begins
this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. EST with practice and qualifying. Opening
ceremonies begin at 12:30 p.m. EST with motos kicking off at 1 p.m.
EST.
