Red Bull X-Fighters 2011 Set for Dubai Opener

DUBAI (United Arab Emirates) - Some 16,000 fans are expected on Friday at the Sand Palace in the
Arabian Gulf. “It’s a phenomenal setting. Jumping right in front of the sea is going to be a challenge for
everyone because it’s really hard to predict where the wind is coming from,“ said multi world record
holder Ronnie Renner (USA) after the “warm up“ along the beach in front of the luxury hotel Burj Al
Arab that was completed in 1999. The desert jewel picked an extraordinary location for its debut
hosting of the Red Bull X-Fighters. FMX heroes, including defending champion Nate Adams (USA),
Andre Villa (NOR), Dany Torres (ESP) and world renown Australian Robbie Maddison, will be
performing their jumps and tricks on Friday evening directly on Jumeirah Beach.

the X-Fighters will move on to South America. The Red Bull X-Fighters will be jumping in the Brazilian
capital Brasilia for the first time, on the “Streets of the Ministries“ (28 May). There will also be stadium
events in an intimate atmosphere in Europe in Rome (25 June), Madrid (16 July) and in the new
European soccer championship stadium in Warsaw (7 August). The final showdown will take place on
the “fifth continent“ in Australia (18 September).
