Race Mechanic Needed

Full time Race Mechanic position.





Relocation to the Southeast required. Mechanic will receive a salary,
room and board, and expenses at the races. This is not a 9-5 job, you
must be prepared to travel extensively and do what is necessary to
assist the rider in being prepared to race and practice. There are
private tracks on site but will often travel to practice at other
tracks. Typical schedule, practice minimum three days per week, race
most weekends, and attend major amateur nationals.





Requirements:





-Must be an experienced four stroke race mechanic.


-Must be capable of maintaining practice bikes and race bikes.


-Must have good driving record and be able to drive a motorcoach pulling a trailer. (no CDL required)


-No drugs or drinking.


-Maintain and organize the on-site shop.


-set up and take down at races.


-Keep track of parts inventory and be responsible for ordering parts.


-Responsible for keeping the vehicles and trailer clean and organized.


-Participate in practice sessions.
