RXR Protect's Ryan Mills Scores Points in his return to AMA Supercross

Successful Atlanta SX for Ryan Mills!

Lake Zurich, IL. (Feb 27, 2008) – After a year away from racing Supercross in the U.S., Ryan Mills signed a good return to the series, at the first round of the Monster Energy AMA East Coast Lites series last weekend.

Backed by RXR Protect and riding for team MDK/Wonder Warthog Racing, Ryan got unlucky when his bike did not start before his Heat race, forcing him to enter the track half a lap after the rest of the riders. Coming back to 15th, Mills had to go through the LCQ where he scored a strong 3rd place and a spot in the Main. Ryan finished 13th in the Main event, scoring his first points of 2008 and feels very confident for the rest of the series and the next round in Indianapolis, IN.

“I think it was a positive ‘first SX in a while’” said Ryan Mills. “I didn’t have a good start in the Main but I managed to pass a few guys and came back to 13th. After being gone from SX for almost 2 years, I am satisfied with my results in Atlanta, I know I can do better and feel confident for the rest of the season. I really want to thank all the people behind me, my trainer Regina, Team MDK/WWR, RXR Protect and all my other sponsors.”

Ryan is racing with an RX V1.0 chest-protector.
