Presentation of Grand Prix of Limburg 2010 and Red Bull FIM MXoN 2012

 VALKENSWAARD
(THE NETHERLANDS), 25 April 2010 – With Valkenswaard being the first
Grand Prix of 2010 held in Benelux, the organizing committee of the
Grand Prix of Limburg at Lommel on the August 1 weekend took the chance to
introduce the 2010 event and the eagerly awaited 2012 Red Bull FIM
Motocross of Nations at Lommel as well.

Through the
active involvement of the Lommel’s municipality and the governments of
Limburg and Flanders, the plans of turning the already permanent
facility into a Motocross Arena by 2012 continue successfully. The 2010
Grand Prix of Limburg will see a new bank built to improve the
spectators’ view on Belgium’s most famous sand track as the event is due
to happen on the August 1 weekend together with the fifth round of the
FIM Veterans’ World Cup.

The cooperation in between World MX
Legends Eric Geboers (five World Titles) and Stefan Everts (10 World
Titles) continues and the common goal of the two Belgians remain the
same: organizing a superb 2012 Red Bull FIM Motocross of Nations which
will mark the event’s comeback to Lommel after a long absence – in 1981
the American team broke Belgium’s winning streak at Lommel.
