John Dowd, Motocross Racer - "The Junk Yard Dog"

Dowdy enjoyed a professional motocross career that lasted much longer than many of his peers. He was and still is a fan favorite and has the respect of about every rider to line up against him over the years. In 1989 John Dowd got his first ever podium finish at an AMA Outdoor National with a 3rd overall at Southwick. Fast forward 20 years and he's done it again at Southwick and at the age of 44. He holds many AMA records including the oldest rider to finish on the podium in an AMA National.

This year will be the 26th season for the indoor motocross series known to some as "motocross in a fish bowl." Tyler Bowers, Motocross Racer - Moto Concepts

Like many struggling young privateers, Bowers came to a point where he was ready to quit racing and pursue other endeavors. Somehow he managed to find himself under the Warthog Racing tent and had some solid finishes in the West Coast Rounds of the AMA Supercross series, where he caught the eye of the Moto Concepts crew and they picked him up midseason. He is currently racing in the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship Series and is in sixteenth place overall after his recent thirteenth at Southwick.
