PHOENIX (January 18, 2011) –
The cobwebs were worked out after the season opener as the second round
of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM Championship, was held at
Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona this past Saturday, January 15. Team Violation1.com/Shea
Racing/Travisa/National Switchgear's Casey Hinson took his “Ready to
Race” Munn Racing KTM 250SX-F to the West Region Lites main event,
finishing in 16th place, after a stellar performance in his heat race.

The
AMA Supercross series traveled from Anaheim, California to Phoenix as
Shea Racing made the trek in its new semi rig. The track was in superb
condition with a few tricky sections. The capacity crowd saw a
performance that will be ingrained in their memory for life.

Hinson
qualified for the night program on his number 149 KTM and was put into
Lites heat race number one. His teammate Austin Howell did not compete
due to a wrist injury suffered at the opening round. When the gate
dropped, Hinson catapulted his Eleven 10 Mods/DR.D KTM 250SX-F to the
front of the pack with the holeshot. Hinson rode hard and smooth as he
battled with other riders near the front, gaining valuable experience.
When the checkers flew, he finished in eighth place with a direct
transfer to the main event.

In the 250cc Lites main event Team Violation1.com/Shea
Racing/Travisa/National Switchgear’s Hinson was one of 20 riders on the
gate. He got another good start and battled on his Enzo
Suspension-tuned KTM 250SX-F in front of the screaming crowd. At the
end of the 15-lap race, Hinson finished in 16th place on a privateer
race bike, proving that he and the team can be competitive. He is now
in the AMA Supercross West Region Lites point standings at 19th place.

“The
entire team is really proud of Casey and his breakthrough performance,”
said Tim Shea, team manager. “The long hours and preparation we did
over the last few months is now showing results. It’s exciting to see
one of our riders and a great guy like Casey be in a televised AMA
Supercross Lites main event. We want to thank all our sponsors for
supporting us because there is no way we can do this without you. It’s
a long series and we will continue to learn and improve."

Shea
continued, "Austin will return next week to race and Casey is on his
game. We could not be happier right now to head to the first AMA
Supercross ever held at Dodger Stadium. We are honored to be a part of
making history.”

Team Violation1.com/Shea
Racing/Travisa/National Switchgear, powered by Munn Racing KTM, will
head to round three of Monster Energy AMA Supercross on Saturday,
January 22, 2011 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California. This is
the first AMA Supercross ever at the stadium and the first one in Los
Angeles in several years. Fans attend the event to see the team’s West
Region Lites racers
#61 Austin Howell and #149 Casey Hinson
competing in the night program in their FLY Racing gear and on DeCal
Works-emblazoned KTM 250SX-F race bikes. During the pit party stop by
the cannot-miss team’s purple and yellow semi hauler to meet the riders
and the Violation Goggles girls. Keep posted to the team at www.sheamoto.com
