Xtreme Team Green’s PJ Larsen was in attendance at the Oak Hill warm up January 27. Larsen was there to get an idea of what the Oak Hill soil would be like this year at the Spring National.
The Spring Nationals being about a month away, PJ has been spending his time training at various tracks in Texas, while staying at Bobby Hewitt’s place. He did the first Oak Hill winter series January 27, where he swept the race with two 1st place overall finishes in the pro class. He plans on doing one more “warm up” race at Oak Hill in two weeks. Then towards the end of February he will go and assess his speed on the soil at Lake Whitney. These races will give PJ a better idea of what the tracks will be like for the Spring Nationals.
With the Spring Nationals being right around the corner, PJ is working to surpass his recent success from the Mini Olympics, where he took home four championships in the pro classes. With his results at the Oak Hill warm up everyone expects PJ Larsen to be the man to beat come March at the Spring Nationals.
