New Program - Team GPF/Babbittsonline.com -Joins Toyota AMA Arenacross Series Team

Sewell brothers – Travis & Shane – along with Chris Pugrab and Jay Villatico head up new team for 2006/’07 season

AURORA, Ill. (Oct. 27, 2006) – A newly formed pro Toyota AMA Arenacross Series team was announced today, adding to one of the largest opening weekend competition fields the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series has ever had.

Team GPF/Babbittsonline.com will feature a number of motocross racers familiar to fans, including Indiana’s Travis & Shane Sewell, New England’s Jay Villatico (Mass.) and Chris Pugrab (Conn.) – who’s coming off an excellent summer racing the AMA Motocross Championships.

GPF (Georgia Practice Facility) was opened in 2000 in order to give amateur riders the same opportunities to practice and train in an environment equivalent to that which the factory riders enjoy.

“GPF and Babbitt’s Sports Center (Muskegon, Mich.) will support a four-man Toyota AMA Arenacross Series team designed to give upper level amateurs and first year pro riders the needed experience to transition into the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series and AMA Outdoor Nationals,” said Ray Woods, team manager for Team GPF/Babbittsonline.com.

Woods continued: “With the new AMA rules which require aspiring pro riders to first gain points in one of several venues prior to applying for a pro supercross license, we felt this was the right way to help support a team of up-and-coming riders in order to help them gain this experience by riding with the seasoned pros of the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series.”

For more information on the Georgia Practice Facility operations, check out the website at www.gpfmx.com. Babbitt's Sports Center www.babbittsonline.com , a leader in Michigan powersports business and superstore for all OEM brand parts and accessories, has joined with several other industry leaders to help support this program and we are looking forward to building relationships that will help our selected riders begin their racing careers.

Also lending supports to the GPF/Babbittsonline.com team are: Dunlop Tires, Factory Connection Suspension, Yoshimura Exhaust, ASV levers and controls, Devol frame and radiator guards, Vortex sprockets and handlebars, TLR Performance Engines, Torco Race Fuel, Wiseco Pistons, Pro Source RV.

In addition to the Sewells, Villatico and Pugrab, Patrick Boyle (Ill.) and Nick Depalo (Fla.) will act as alternates for the team.
