Moose Racing’s Nicoletti Grabs Top-10 Finish at Budds Creek

Moose Racing’s Phil Nicoletti put together his first top-10 overall finish of the season at the fifth stop on the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship at Budds Creek MX Park in Mechanicsville, Md. His 14-9 moto finish in the 250 class helped him earn his best result of the season as the series heads into a two-weekend break. Kevin Rookstool finished 24th overall in the 450 class with a 20-34 moto result.

At the AMA ATV Motocross event at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pa., Moose Racing’s Cody Gibson remained unbeatable in the Pro Am Production class, while an issue on the final lap of the Pro Am Unlimited class pushed him back to seventh overall for the day. Gibson still leads both Pro Am classes by a sizable margin. Cody Webb competed at the AMA National Trials Championship in Toronto, Ohio, finishing second overall.

On the West Coast, Moose Racing’s GNCC stars Brian Wolf and Jarrod McClure used their downtime from GNCC action to race the World Off Road Championship Series at On the Edge Raceway in Central, Utah. Wolf was able to lead every lap and take the victory, while Josh Frederick finished fourth and McClure was fifth. At the AMA National Enduro in Upton, Wy., Nick Fahringer earned a test win on his way to finish on the podium in third overall. Moose Racing’s Jesse Groemm was able to finish eighth, while Cole Kirkpatrick finished ninth.
