Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Wilson Makes Impressive Podium Return in Jacksonville‏

Corona,
Calif
. (March 21, 2011) - Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Dean
Wilson found his way back to the podium after a two-race hiatus with a
second-place finish at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Fla. His finish
bumped him up into third in the AMA Supercross Lites Eastern Region
point standings. Teammate Blake Baggett had a tough night as he was
unable to qualify for the main event.

Wilson
seemed to be back in the groove in Jacksonville, starting the day with
the second-fastest lap time in qualifying. He took that speed into his
heat race, taking the win after leading all six laps. In the main
event, Wilson got he start he needed and moved quickly into second
after the opening lap. Wilson focused on keeping his mistakes to a
minimum and was able to finish on the podium in second.

"Im
so happy to be back on the podium," said Wilson. "I would have liked to
win, but I'll take it. I know that I am 19 points down, but over the
next couple races Im just going to go out and have fun. It seemed to
work tonight."

The
race in Florida didnt go as Baggett had planned, but he tried to keep
a positive attitude after not being able to qualify to the main event.

"Im
seriously disappointed with myself that I made mistakes that cost me a
possible championship," said Baggett. "With four rounds left, the
pressure is now off me and I'll be going out to show that I am capable
of winning races. I cant change what happened, but I can work hard to
make the next race better than Jacksonville."

The
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team heads north of the border to
Toronto, Canada this weekend as the Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM
Championship enters the sixth round of the AMA Supercross Lites Eastern
Region. Over the weekend, Wilson moved into third with 97 points, while
Baggett sits in fourth with 85 points.
