Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki Roll Into Red Bud Ready to Continue Streak

CORONA, Calif. (June 30, 2011) – The Monster Energy/Pro
Circuit/Kawasaki team will spend the first half of the Fourth of July
weekend at Red Bud in Buchanan, Mich. for the sixth round of the AMA
Motocross Championship. Blake Baggett looks to collect back-to-back
wins, while his teammates Dean Wilson, Tyla Rattray and Broc Tickle are
eager to earn wins of their own as the season hits the halfway point.

Blake Baggett

Coming off his third overall win of the season, Baggett looks to start a
win-streak in Michigan after earning wins at every other race this
season.

“I haven’t been able to get a streak going, but I’m feeling good and
know I can put together two solid motos if I get the start. I did much
better with my starts at Thunder Valley and hopefully I can carry that
over to the race at Red Bud. I’ve never raced at that track before, but
everyone talks about how great it is so I’m really excited to get out
there.”

Dean Wilson

With his consistent finishes over the past five races, Wilson was able
to take back the points lead from teammate Rattray in Colorado. While he
would like to capture his first win of the season, his focus remains on
the races ahead and staying on top of the championship standings.

“It’s been a little difficult not being able to put together a win so
far this year,” said Wilson. “I do know that my consistency has helped
me stay close and now on top of the points so there is a positive out of
all the second-place finishes. I’m going to keep doing what I’ve been
doing and hopefully a win will come very soon.”

Tyla Rattray

Finishing off the podium for the first time this season at Thunder
Valley, Rattray is eager to race back to the top at Red Bud. Last year,
Rattray finished second in the first moto and looks to make improve that
in 2011.

“Red Bud is a fun track and I am hoping to get back on the box after my
rough ride last weekend,” said Rattray. “I am really hard on myself when
I do badly, so hopefully that will be a good motivator for me to get
back out front this weekend. I want this championship really bad and I
don’t want to let one bad weekend stop me.”

Broc Tickle

Tickle’s weekend in Colorado didn’t go as expected when a punctured
radiator took him out of the second moto early, but heading back to his
home state will give him the boost he needs to rebound back to the
podium.

“I just want to get back out and ride,” said Tickle. “It’s hard after
having bad luck take you out of a moto. It only makes me want to go back
out there and ride right away. Red Bud is my home track and it will be
great to be back in Michigan. Hopefully I can give all the local fans a
good result.”

The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team will head to East for the
sixth stop of the AMA Motocross Championship at Red Bud in Buchanan,
Mich. Wilson leads the 250cc class with 214 points, while Rattray is not
far behind with 206. Baggett maintained third with 194, while Tickle
remained in seventh with 113 points.
