Monster Energy Lands on the Podium Twice in Atlanta!

fans showed up to a sold out Georgia Dome as Monster Energy
Supercross invaded Atlanta. The Supercross Class was on its eighth
round, while the Supercross Lites East Series was on its second
round.

Monster
Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett put in a big-time
rebound ride in Atlanta. He claimed a heat race victory, and carried
that momentum into the Supercross Lites East Main, as he finished in
second and vaulted himself from 15^th to fifth in the
championship standings.

Monster
Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto rode like a beast and overcame a
bad start. He charged from the back of the pack to the front, and
finished in the runner-up spot on the podium, just a few bike lengths
from the win. 

 The
Monster Energy crew heads to St. Louis next week, as the Edward Jones
Dome will play host to the ninth round of the Monster Energy
Supercross Class, and the third round of the Monster Energy
Supercross Lites East Region. Monster Energy Kawasaki's Ryan
Villopoto will hold on to the red plate in the Supercross Class, with
180 points, while teammate, Jake Weimer, stays steady in fifth
overall with 106 points. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Blake
Baggett jumps up to fifth overall in the Supercross Lites East
Region, with 28 points, while teammate Darryn Durham stays in second
overall, with 38 points.
