Monster Energy Kawasaki's Timmy Ferry Set for Return at Toronto

Irvine, Calif. (March 25, 2008) – Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Timmy Ferry will return to the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM Championship this weekend at the Rogers Center in Toronto.

Ferry was injured on February 26 while training before the Indianapolis round of the series. He bruised his ribs and pancreas during the crash and has been recovering and rehabbing ever since.

“I’ve ridden for the last two weeks and I’m back to where I feel like I can win,” said Ferry. “It has been really hard to sit and watch these races, but I didn’t want to rush back either. I’m still a little sore after riding a lot but that’s to be expected.”

Ferry is the track designer for the Toronto round and knowing the layout better than most will help him during his return.

“We are thrilled to have Timmy back,” said Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Manager Mike Fisher. “It will be good to have his personality back in the truck as well as having “Red Dog” back out on the track.”

Ferry and teammate Travis Preston will compete in the only international round of this year’s championship on Saturday, March 29 at the Rogers Center in Toronto, Canada.
