Monster Athlete Adam Cianciarulo Leaves Little Doubt En Route to Super Mini Win at Monster Energy Cup

CORONA,Calif.
(October 16, 2011) –Saturday night’s Monster Energy Cup, from Las
Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium, served as the ultimate showcase of the
motocross world, featuring the fastest riders on the planet, in
addition to the future stars of the sport. The Super Mini class was
hyped as a head-to-head showdown between amateur juggernaut Adam
Cianciarulo and Cooper Webb, a talented up-and-comer in his own
right. Following a pair of motos to determine a winner, Cianciarulo
left little doubt in proving that he is the world’s fastest Super
Mini rider.

No
one was any match for Cianciarulo (92) on Saturday night.

Cianciarulo
kicked off the night with the holeshot and dominant victory on the
hybrid supercross and motocross track aboard his Monster Energy
Kawasaki Team Green machine. Cianciarulo had posted the fastest
practice lap earlier in the day, and looked to mesh perfectly with
the unique nature of the track.

With
a win to his credit in Moto 1, all Cianciarulo had to do in Moto 2
was get a good start, and replicate his previous effort. After
another holeshot, Cianciarulo was off to the races. While Webb tried
valiantly to keep his rival honest, Cianciarulo was dialed in, and
began to extend his lead lap-by-lap.

Cianciarulo
claimed the big win with perfect 1-1 moto scores, to cap off an
incredible year for the young rider, who signed a long-term deal with
Kawasaki earlier this season to remain one of Monster Energy’s
brightest future prospects for many years to come.
