Miss Arenacross Applications Now Being Accepted for 2009 AMA Arenacross Series

AURORA, Ill. (August 18, 2008) – Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc., announced today that applications are now being accepted for Miss Arenacross 2009.

“We are excited to see who this years’ Miss Arenacross search will bring to the AMA Arenacross Series,” said Jayme Dalsing, director of arenacross, Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc. “Ashley brought a wealth of knowledge to the Miss Arenacross position, such as her live event commentary and her ability to connect with fans. These are the attributes that we hope to find in our new Miss Arenacross.”

Interested applicants for the 2009 Miss Arenacross must complete the application on www.Arenacross.com and submit three photos for consideration by September 15. Twenty girls will be chosen from the submissions and their photos will be posted on www.Arenacross.com where fans will have the opportunity to provide feedback on their favorite girl.

“I've had the opportunity to be Miss Arenacross since 2005 and it's been an amazing lifetime experience,” said Ashley Phillips. “I've made some great friends over the years and will continue to be involved in industry. I look forward to passing the title on to the next Miss Arenacross and can only tell her that she should be ready for an incredible ride. Best wishes to all the girls!”

Once the field has been narrowed to 10 finalists, www.Arenacross.com will host introduction videos of the finalists on why they should become Miss Arenacross. Live Nation Motor Sports, Inc. will select and award the Miss Arenacross crown at the Des Moines Arenacross November 7 at Wells Fargo Arena.

Miss Arenacross will travel to the AMA Arenacross Series tour stops across the country and will serve as a spokesmodel for the series.
